Commitment to Preservation

Our Association was founded by Tony Jones Cit WA OAM, a keen sailor, educator and highly regarded Western Australian artist. Tony accumulated a collection of 50 dinghies, sculls and rowing shells over 30 years capturing the essence of dinghy sailing on the Swan River in Western Australia. In 2026, Tony donated the collection to the Association for its ongoing care and restoration.

The Association has an established membership and affiliates, including prominent past and present sailors, museum and yacht club representatives and sailing enthusiasts.

All involved, are dedicated to preserving and documenting the rich heritage of dinghy sailing in Western Australia.

New members, affiliates and volunteers are warmly welcomed.
